Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Paul Simons has had an extensive career working with children, adolescents and their families, firstly as a GP and, more recently, as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and holds a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. After achieving his medical degree from UWA, he worked as a GP in remote and metropolitan settings in WA before training as a psychiatrist. He has worked within the public system and is currently working with the Child and Adolescent Health Service as a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist.
He does not accept clients for psychiatric review only. He is part of a multi-disciplinary team and all young people attending the practice are engaged in therapy at Head Office Health.
